NJJBA Seniors Program
Seniors Player Registration is Active!
What is the NJJBA Seniors Program?
High school age teams composed of players who are not playing in the high school American Legion program, but who nonetheless want to participate in organized play during the summer. All players who played at 14´s in the spring and any high school aged player can participate in the Seniors League.
Who is eligible for the NJJBA Seniors Program?
The NJJBA Seniors Program is open to any person under the age of 18 on April 30 of this year.
Players from any area are eligible to play on an NJJBA Seniors Team.
There is no minimum age; however, teams will be made up predominantly of 15 to 18-year-old players. If you have played for NJJBA within the last two years no birth certificate will be required. If not, a copy of your state birth certificate will be mandatory.
The fees for this program are $200. NJJBA is offering a discounted player registration fee for those players who are members of a 2010 14-year-old NJJBA team that will play in the 2010 Seniors season "as a team". Discounted player registration fee is $150. There are no scholarships in the Seniors Program.
What if I have a job or other summer activity?
The program is designed around teenagers who would like to play baseball but not devote their entire summer to playing baseball. We form teams of 15 players because it is sometimes difficult for youths of this age to make it to every game and have a job or sport training program.
